Lake Level ; APP. 3 Ft. Low

Surface Water Temp; upper 80`s.

Black Bass Good To 8+ Lbs. Many Shad Suspended From Surface To 3 Ft. Schooling Activity Increasing. Topwater Bite Can Be Effective All Day On A Variety Of Lures In Shad Or Clear Colors. During The Heat Of The Day I`ve Been Seeing Some Better Fish On Carolina Rig Centipedes and Texas Rig Worms In Wtmln/ Red , Wtmln/Cht, Red Shad and Redbug Colors. Fishing Will Bust Loose As the weather cools in the next few weeks.

Crappie Good on Brushpiles from 14 to 20Ft.

Catfish steady on trotlines in 20 to 25 Ft. and on holes baited with maize with rod and reel.

Hybrids and white bass are scchooling sporadically on main lake points. Fishing for them will get to be fun as the water cools.

Bream fishing has been excellent in 2 to 12 Ft. around the edges of the grass.
